2-1-1 has the most comprehensive information and referral database in the region and can help you locate human services in your community such as:

• Child and elderly care
• After-school programs
• Emergency shelter
• Job training
• Rent assistance
• Utility assistance
• Counseling
• Substance abuse

Anyone needing help in Macomb, Oakland or Wayne counties can dial 2-1-1.
Anyone outside of the tri-county area can call United Way’s 2-1-1 call center
by dialing 1-800-552-1183.

You can also give help through 2-1-1 or look for volunteer opportunities.
