    This brochure from the Greater Detroit Agency for the Blind and Visually Impaired provides information on how people who are blind or visually impaired do common tasks and suggestions on how to interact effectively with a visually impaired person.
  • Tips on Helping a Blind Person
    This brochure from the Greater Detroit Agency for the Blind and Visually Impaired makes suggestions on how to offer help to a person who is visually impaired while being sensitive to the person's needs and feelings.
  • Michigan Aging Services System (MASS)
    MASS is designed to serve members of Michigan's aging network, including Area Agency on Aging personnel, service providers, and Office of Services to the Aging (OSA) staff. This service has been made public, however, so that others interested in services for older people in Michigan and elsewhere may benefit from its use.

  • National Clearinghouse of Rehabilitation Training Materials
    The National Clearinghouse of Rehabilitation Training Materials (NCRTM) exists to provide a wide variety of disability related training resources to those who serve persons with disabilities. The Clearinghouse is funded by a grant from the Rehabilitation Services Administration in the U.S. Department of Education and is its sole clearinghouse.
  • Design for Ageing Network
    The Design for the Ageing Network is an initiative launched by a group of organisations and individuals from across Europe. Its main concern is to develop the necessary expertise, know-how and understanding to enable design and industry to respond to the growing population of over-50's in Europe in appropriate and life-enhancing ways.
