GDABVI Announcement

Vote independently… it’s your right!

The Help America Vote Act of 2002 mandates that accessible voting equipment must be furnished in polling places throughout the country. In the state of Michigan, all polling places should have what is known as the ES&S AutoMARK voter assist terminal, which is designed to help those who are disabled to vote with the same privacy and independence as those without disabilities.

Podcast 1 - Agency Case Manager Ollie Lester shares her experience as a consumer who has used the AutoMark terminal to vote.
Podcast 2 - Agency Administrator Christina Schlitt explains the AutoMARK voting process to Irene Woodell of the Detroit Information Radio Service (DRIS).
